Ayatul-Kursi (Verse of Throne)Read Online
Holy Prophet (SAW) said:
“Whoever recites the first 4 ayahs of Surah-e-Baqarah, then Ayatul Kursi and then the last3 ayahs of Surah-e-Baqarah will not be inflicted with any kind of difficulty in his wealth or himself, Shaitaan will not come near him and he will not forget the Quran.”
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص سورہ بقرہ کی پہلی 4 آیات، پھر آیت الکرسی اور پھر سورہ بقرہ کی آخری 3 آیات پڑھے گا، اس کے مال یا جان میں کسی قسم کی تنگی نہیں ہوگی۔ شیطان اس کے قریب نہیں آئے گا اور وہ قرآن کو نہیں بھولے گا۔
Ayat ul kursi with tarjuma
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
“Allah! There is no god but He – the Living, The Self-subsisting,
Eternal.
No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep.
His are all things In the heavens and on earth.
Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He
knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind
them.
Nor shall they encompass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth.
His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No
fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High.
The Supreme (in glory).”
Information about Ayatul-Kursi:
Ayatal-Kursi is the 255th verse of the
2nd chapter of the Quran, Heifer (Q2:255). The verse speaks about
how nothing and nobody are regarded as comparable to Allah.
This is one of the best-known verses of the Quran and is widely memorized
and displayed in the Muslim world. It is often recited to ward off
jinn.

Importance of Ayatul-Kursi:
Surah Al-Baqarah has the Ayah Ayatul Kursi in Quran(verse255). According to
Prophet Muhammad (SAW), it is the Quran's most important Ayah.
According to Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It's one of the four Quranic portions
connected to Arsh (Allah's Throne). The significance of the Ayatul-Kursi might
be inferred from the following quotes by influential holy personalities.
"The
Ayahs leader of Quran Kareem is Ayatul Kursi," Hazrat Ali (R.A) said.
Hazrat Ibn Masood (RA) said,
“Allah the Lofty did not create anything in the skies or on earth, in Jannat or Jahannam, loftier than Ayatul Kursi.” Hazrat Ibn Masood (R.A) also mentioned that no space in the sky or on the earth is loftier than Ayatul Kursi.
Benefits of Ayatul-Kursi:
Reciting Ayatul Kursi at Bed at night
Hazrat Qatada RA narrated that Prophet Muhammad SAW said, ‘one who recites
Ayatul Kursi on his bed at night, Allah sends two angels to protect him till
the morning.’ It means it is essential to read Ayatul Kursi before sleeping.
Hazrat Abu Qatada RA narrated that Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW said ‘that one
who recites Ayatul Kursi and the last verses of Surah Al-Baqrah,
particularly in the time of difficulty, Allah will listen to his request.’
Narrated by Abu Huraira (RA):
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan. Then
somebody came to me and started stealing from the foodstuff. I caught him
and said,
“I will take you to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)!” Then Abu Huraira
described the whole narration and said: That person said (to me), “(Please
don’t take me to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) and I will tell you a few words by
which Allah will benefit you.) When you go to your bed, recite
Ayat-al-Kursi, (2.255) for then there will be a guard from Allah who will
protect you all night long, and Satan will not be able to come near you till
dawn.”
(When the Prophet (ﷺ) heard the story) he said (to me), “He (who came
to you at night) told you the truth although he is a liar; and it was Satan.

Below are some benefits of reciting Ayatul Kursi that every Muslim needs to know:
- One who recites Ayatul Kursi every morning will be in the protection, the safety of Allah until the night.
- If a person recites it once, when going out of the home, Almighty Allah has a group of Angels to come and protect him/her. If recited twice, then two groups of Angels are assigned to do this. If recited thrice, Allah tells the Angels not to worry as the Almighty himself takes care of the person.
- Allah Almighty told Hazrat Musa (A.S), “If one recites it after every Namaz, the Almighty Allah will make his heart a thankful one, will give him a reward of the Prophets and his deeds will be like those of the truthful and nothing except death will stop will stop him from going into heaven.”
- Holy Prophet (SAW) said: “These things increase one's memory: sweets, the meat of an animal which is slaughtered in Islamic manner near the neck, Lentils, cold bread and recitation of Ayatul Kursi.”
- Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “If one recites Ayatul Kursi before going to sleep, Allah will send an Angel to come and look after you and protect you.”
- One who recites Ayatul Kursi after every prayer, their Namaz will be accepted, and they will remain in the safety of Allah Almighty and He will protect them.
- Frequent recitation of Ayatul Kursi makes one’s own death easy.
- When someone is alone in the home, the recitation of Ayatul Kursi will make them remain calm and will not fear.
Where is Ayatul Kursi in Quran?
Ayatul Kursi comes in the Madani Surah and the 2nd Surah of the Quran, Surah Al Baqarah.
It is the 255th verse and a verse that everyone is strongly advised to learn
by memory and recite as often as they can.
